Meet Mike Flores
Mike has been running since 1974
Mike Flores has been a #CountyHunter since August of 2020. He is 66 years old and has achieved a great deal in his lifetime. Mike graduated from Texas A&M with a BS in Agriculture and Economics and continued his education at UT in Austin, earning an MBA in Finance and Accounting. He has also been invited to the Boston Marathon, and runs a 10k right under an 8 minute pace! Mike is also the first in the 325 club, an exclusive club for #CountyHunters who have completed a run of their choice in each of the 325 counties in the Republic of Texas.
Why325?
Go Run Texas 325 is a running initiative that was created to motivate and inspire people to get out and run in all of the counties of the Republic of Texas. This initiative has been inspired by the success of Go Run Texas 254. Go Run Texas 254 is a challenge started by Mary Kaplan who completed a race in every county in Texas at the ages of 71-77. She wanted to encourage other runners to also run in all 254 counties in the state of Texas so she created the Go Run Texas 254 club.
